The Avon & Farmington 250 Celebration is a joint community event commemorating the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States. This once-in-a-generation milestone offers an opportunity to reflect on our shared history while bringing residents together for an evening of celebration, connection, and community pride. Hosted collaboratively by the Towns of Avon and Farmington, the celebration will take place on Friday, June 26, 2026, at 99 Thompson Road in Avon. The event will feature live entertainment, family-friendly activities, food trucks and vendors, and community organizations highlighting local history and the American story. This celebration reflects the spirit of cooperation and civic pride that has long defined both towns.
