This once-in-a-generation milestone offers an opportunity to reflect on our shared history while bringing residents together for an evening of celebration, connection, and community pride. Hosted collaboratively by the Towns of Avon and Farmington, the celebration will take place on Friday, June 26, 2026, at 99 Thompson Road in Avon. The event will feature live entertainment, family-friendly activities, food trucks and vendors, and community organizations highlighting local history and the American story. This celebration reflects the spirit of cooperation and civic pride that has long defined both towns.
As we mark 250 years of American independence, the Avon and Farmington 250 Celebration invites residents, families, and visitors to honor the past, celebrate the present, and look ahead to the future—together.
